Photography Project 365, Week 17

I'm attempting Project 365, a photo a day every day for 365 days of the year

Week 17

22/04
Purple haired daughter

Daughter 2 disenchanted with the multi-coloured mermaid hair she's had for just a couple of weeks decided to just go purple instead. Now she matches nearly everything in the house.

23/04
Wakefield Sunset

24/04
bunch of roses

These roses looked beautiful in Marks and Spencers, but I left them there. I think there's something intrinsically wrong about buying yourself roses, it's one of my unwritten rules about being a woman.

25/04
blue skies and cherry trees

Above, the sky on the school run in the morning and, below, the sky for the school run home again in the afternoon. Between there were several hail storms and a squall. Isn't Spring weather marvellous.

26/04
bluebells

It's bluebell time and I keep seeing gorgeous photographs of bluebell carpeted woods all over social media, I haven't got to the countryside this week so you'll just have to make do with the garden bluebells.

27/04
sticker graffiti anti EU

Spotted stuck to a lamp post in Wakefield city centre, I like to think that it's the work of a Tory livid with hatred for both Labour and the EU, but far too conservative to deface street furniture with actual graffiti. #conservativevandalism

28/04
cat shopping

I'm really start to miss having a cat after nearly 30 years of living with them before our last, and much lamented, cat Jellybean was killed last year. I'm missing having a cat so much I've even started to take random photos of other people's cats. Doesn't make it any better though. #catshopping

  1. Love the cat photo and so sorry to hear about your cat. Laughing at the Conservative sticky label graffiti. That's definitely an old person's handwriting!

  2. Looks like a mans writing, I find they tend to write in capitals.
Great cherry blossom, we have a road I drive round that has looked fabulous for about 2 weeks then it just looks messy once they start to drop all over the cars.
