Daughter 2 disenchanted with the multi-coloured mermaid hair she's had for just a couple of weeks decided to just go purple instead. Now she matches nearly everything in the house.

These roses looked beautiful in Marks and Spencers, but I left them there. I think there's something intrinsically wrong about buying yourself roses, it's one of my unwritten rules about being a woman.
Above, the sky on the school run in the morning and, below, the sky for the school run home again in the afternoon. Between there were several hail storms and a squall. Isn't Spring weather marvellous.
It's bluebell time and I keep seeing gorgeous photographs of bluebell carpeted woods all over social media, I haven't got to the countryside this week so you'll just have to make do with the garden bluebells.
Spotted stuck to a lamp post in Wakefield city centre, I like to think that it's the work of a Tory livid with hatred for both Labour and the EU, but far too conservative to deface street furniture with actual graffiti. #conservativevandalism
I'm really start to miss having a cat after nearly 30 years of living with them before our last, and much lamented, cat Jellybean was killed last year. I'm missing having a cat so much I've even started to take random photos of other people's cats. Doesn't make it any better though. #catshopping
