This year I am attempting Project 365, taking a photo a day for 365 days of the year. Usually you can follow my daily posts on Instagram and the weekly round up here on the blog every Saturday. But not this week, because I have been extraordinarily busy so ....
One of the doors at Wakefield Magistrates Court where I spent many happy hours covering cases when I was a probationary reporter. It's set to be closed down soon and no doubt turned into a restaurant or nightclub.
Mother's Day and I got a very unlikely card from the Teen with a florid and very effusive verse but inside she wrote she didn't mean any of the "cheesy stuff" and then arrowed bits that she thought particularly nauseating. So that was nice.
Teen got her results for Grade Three piano and she didn't just pass, she passed with distinction. And that was nice.
Boy's turn at the piano; warming up for his Grade One exam in the practise room.
So technically I didn't actually take this photo but only because a kind person took pity on two elderly folk trying to take a selfie. This is me with one of my oldest (and slightly older) friends, we've had our adventures over the past 25 years and you can read about some of them here and here.
A five hour drive through dusk and darkness to Scotland and a wedding. The sky was so impressive I was taking photos out of the car window as we sped past (I wasn't driving btw)
