Odd happenings in Wakefield

Slightly odd goings on outside the Cathedral in the city centre on Tuesday. Couldn't actually work out what they were doing or why but looked like they were having fun anyway.

Lunch at The Capri, Wakefield

Lunch with The Man and the father in law.

20/07
Year six leavers assembly

The penultimate day at The Boy's junior school and it was the Leavers Assembly and the Leavers Party. There were tears and they were mostly mine.

The Boy on his last day at school

And finally, after six long years for him, and seventeen even longer years for me (don't ever have children five years apart), we both finished primary school. Him, the education bit. Me, the walking to and fro school run bit. Hurrah.

Onwards and upwards to new adventures.

gardening

We're having quite a bit of work done in the back garden so I've been busy preparing plants to go in when it's finished. I've grown some from bulbs and other's I've rescued from the nearly-dead plant section of the local supermarket and coaxed back to life because no one wants to finish a garden with nothing to put in it.

Twin Daughter2, Twin Daughter1 and Me
Twin2 graduating with a BA(Hons) degree in English Language and Linguistics at Huddersfield University. Very pleased I didn't burst with pride to be honest.
