I'm joining in with The Gallery this week and the theme is Buildings ...
By lucky hap not many weeks ago I visited London where there is lots and lots and lots of buildings.
There's The Shard, famously Western Europe's tallest building, though just a short walk away is the reconstruction of Shakespeare's, arguably more famous and inspiring, Globe Theatre.
But London has many, many skyscrapers piercing it's skyline. Some of them boast names like The Walkie-Talkie and The Gherkin. Self explanatory names and more interesting than 20 Fenchurch Street and 30 St Mary Axe at least.

And some buildings are more than just buildings, they're part of the very fabric of London's history, society and culture; iconic London landmarks like Sir Christopher Wren's St Paul's Cathedral.
